Woman’s Day magazine wants to know

if the library improved your health

Has your local public library positively impacted your health? Write Woman’s Day magazine to tell them how and your article could be featured in the magazine!

If your local public library’s resources helped you find a diagnosis for you or a loved one, or improved your physical, mental or emotional well-being, tell Woman’s Day in an essay of 700 words or less. Up to four women will win and be featured in an upcoming issue of Woman’s Day.

Enter by e-mailing your essay to womansday@ala.org between Feb. 12 and May 11, 2008. Complete rules and criteria are available on the Woman’s Day web site at www.womansday.com/home/12688/wdala-essay-contest-2008.html. Judging for the contest will be done by staff at Woman’s Day and the American Library Association. The winners and their entries will be featured in the March 2009 issue of Woman’s Day and/or on www.womansday.com
