When answering a question today I realized I have not made enough fanfare about the fantastic new resource from the Association for Library Service to Children:  The Virtual Storytime Services Guide.  So much good information, good ideas, best practices, tools.  Wow.  Look here if you are wondering about copyright, virtual platforms, reaching diverse audiences, and so much more!  Practical and inspiring, my favorite combination!

This morning I got an email from my friend and colleague (and youth services rockstar) Marge Loch Wouters.  She noticed I’d been sharing some information about homeschooling, and shared a blog post by Abby the Librarian about recent books on homeschooling she has purchased.  It is a good place to start!  I’m hoping to spend some time in the next few weeks researching some other recent, high-quality resources as well.  Please share your favorites (or your homeschooling community’s favorites) with me and I’ll add them to the list!
