Keeping Up With Kids

The DPI seeks sponsors to provide free meals to economically disadvantaged children as part of the Summer Food Service Program. “Almost 40 percent of our students qualify for free or reduced-price meals during the school year. The increasing number of economically disadvantaged children means there is an increasing need to offer meals as part of summer programming as well,” said State Superintendent Tony Evers.

Sponsors complete an application on-line. New sponsors must attend a training session March 23 in Madison.
