Chicago Public Library recently collaborated with a very proactive and dedicated judge, the Honorable Helaine Berger, to create a book list and build supporting collections in every CPL location for kids, teens, and parents who are involved in the foster care system.  All the titles on the list have been vetted by children’s librarians, Judge Berger and her colleagues, and families themselves.

Might be a useful resource–foster care happens everywhere.
